Every Somali Has a Seat at the Table
Somali Table is a platform for truth, healing, and leadership. Through honest conversations and storytelling, we amplify Somali voices that inspire courage, unity, and transformation
The Somali Table is a space for thoughtful conversations that go beyond titles, image, and public success.
Founded and hosted by Naima Saeed, the podcast focuses on the person behind the name. It looks at the experiences, choices, pressures, and realities that shape who people become over time.
In our society, people are often known by their roles, their families, their achievements, or their public positions. These things matter, but they do not tell the full story. We do not often stop to ask deeper questions:
Who is the person beyond the title?
What has shaped the way they think?
What challenges have they faced?
What do they believe today?
The Somali Table was created to make space for these questions.
It brings together leaders, creatives, professionals, young people, and changemakers to speak openly and reflect on their lives with honesty and care.
The focus is not only on success, but on the journey behind it. Not only on leadership, but on the responsibility it carries. Not only on identity, but on the human experience that shapes it.
The Somali Table is a place where our stories are shared with depth, dignity, integrity, and precision.
